Privacy Policy

The calculator runs in your browser. Dollar amounts and policy terms entered into the tools are used to render the result on your device and are not sent to Pet Insurance Analyzer by the calculator code.

Reloading or closing the page may clear the inputs. The site does not require an account, email address, or payment information to use the tools.

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps in server logs for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. Their handling of that data is governed by Netlify's own privacy terms.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and which tools are used. GA4 may process your approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, referring page, pages viewed, and interaction events such as calculator starts and completions. It sets cookies (for example _ga) to distinguish sessions and returning visits.

Calculator amounts are never sent to analytics. When a tool is used we record only coarse buckets — for example a bill of “$1,000–$2,499” and the chosen reimbursement percentage — never the exact figure you typed. The site has no login or user profile feature.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The calculator keeps working if analytics is blocked.

Guides and site pages may link to third-party resources such as GitHub. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
